Kari Blankenship began her career with Cabela’s as a Public Relations Manager for New Store Openings.  In this position Kari represented Cabela’s, a hunting, fishing and outdoor gear retailer, and shared the story of the company’s emergence from a catalog retailer into a multi-channel retailer with stores as large as 250,000 square feet.  She was later promoted to her current position and began managing three programs that are customer-facing in Cabela’s retail stores.  These programs include Guided-Selling Kiosks, a ship-to-store program known as ISP or In-Store Pick Up and Catalog Order Centers.  She is actively involved in the acquisition of self-service and digital technologies that Cabela’s will introduce in future ventures. 

Kari grew up at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri and enjoys spending her time outdoors wakeboarding, snowboarding, hiking, shooting target archery and she loves recreational boating.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Missouri where she majored in Business Administration and her professional experience includes Finance and Banking, Marketing and Advertising, and Multi-Channel Retailing.  She currently resides in Sidney, Nebraska where Cabela’s World Headquarters are located.
